Richard Amaker is our Commercial Project Manager at our Charleston, SC location. With a unique journey that began at military school at the age of 17, Richard embarked on a path that has led him to excel in the construction and chemical industries. Drawing from a wealth of experience, Richard has taken on various roles throughout his career, showcasing his adaptability and dedication.
In 2021, Richard pursued further growth by enrolling in a project management course at USC. His commitment paid off as he not only completed the course with flying colors but also earned a certification in project management. Adding to his impressive credentials, Richard obtained a CAPM certification from the Project Management Institute, showcasing his expertise and commitment to professional development.
Richard’s journey led him to specialize in roofing within the construction field. From new construction projects to reroofing endeavors, Richard demonstrates his versatility and proficiency. His skill set encompasses a wide range of roofing systems, including standing seam metal roofing, concrete tile, slate, copper, TPO, PVC, and modified bitumen. Through his dedicated work, Richard ensures that each project is executed with precision and quality.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Richard finds joy in spending time with his family. When not managing projects, you might find him on exciting motorcycle rides or engaging in community service through benefit rides. Richard also enjoys the occasional game of golf and seeks relaxation by spending time on the lake.
